How to Connect the Power Supply to ASUS TS300-E9-PS4 Server

This is a beginner-friendly guide to help you safely and successfully connect the power supply to your ASUS TS300-E9-PS4 server. No tech expertise needed; just follow these simple steps.

Steps

Step 1: Locate the Power Supply Unit (PSU) on the Server

  1. Go to the backside of the server.

  2. You'll see a rectangular box with a power socket, often labeled 'AC IN' or similar. That's the Power Supply Unit (PSU).

Step 2: Unravel the Power Cord

  1. Take the power cord that came with your server.

  2. Untangle it if necessary.

Step 3: Connect the Power Cord to the Server

  1. Find the end of the power cord that fits into the power socket on the PSU.

  2. Gently insert this end into the PSU socket at the back of the server. You should hear a slight click or feel it securely fit into place.

Step 4: Connect the Power Cord to the Power Outlet

  1. Take the other end of the power cord.

  2. Plug it into an available power outlet or power strip.

Step 5: Double-Check Your Connections

  1. Make sure the power cord is securely connected at both ends — in the power outlet and the PSU socket on the server.

Step 6: Turn On the Power

  1. Locate the power button on the front side of the server.

  2. It is often marked with a universal power symbol (a circle with a line through it).

  3. Press the power button to turn on the server.

  4. You should see some LED lights come on, indicating the server is starting up.

These steps should be easy to follow for setting up the server's power supply.
